On this day, we had a send-off party to give a big send-off to a person who was transferred to a different department in January. The organizer had a hard time finding a venue in Akasaka, near the office, with a private room and all-you-can-drink policy. On the day of the event, we went to this place that we were guided to. The appearance, atmosphere, and interior design of the restaurant are all very nice. It is also within walking distance from Akasaka-mitsuke station. It is located in the basement of a small multi-tenant building, but the entrance is a little confusing. The interior is a maze of private and semi-private rooms separated by wooden partitions. If you are drunk, it is difficult to go back from the restroom! We ordered the "Seasonal Service Course" in advance. The course was a light snack course with a small amount of food. The price was a reasonable 5,500 yen with all-you-can-drink for 2 hours. The flow of the course was as follows. Butterbur with sesame paste" I was surprised at how well it was prepared. The aroma of butterbur goes well with the slightly sweet white miso sauce. The thickly sliced bonito was fresh, and the accompanying condiments and vegetables were plentiful. Deep-fried seasonal vegetables such as taro, pumpkin, and sweet potato. "Ham Katsu," a nostalgic dish from the olden days. The thick ham is nostalgic and makes you smile. The thin batter is also good. The bean paste was a little sweet and not to my liking, but the tofu was freshly fried, the batter was not flaky, and it was hot, which was a good point. "Tender cabbage rolls simmered in homemade Japanese soup stock with a hint of yuzu" The soup stock was unexpectedly good. The bonito and kelp flavors were well represented, and the aroma of yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit) was a nice accent. The cabbage roll itself was quite ordinary. To finish off the meal, a fruit plate with a nice message was prepared by the hostess! The party was a great success. The staff in charge of our room were two young and pretty girls. They were cheerful and smiling, and served us drinks quickly. We had no particular concerns. The food was surprisingly decent for the price. All the dishes were seasoned to match the drinks and the portions were ample. The staffs' service was also good, and I think the CP is generally good. (5) Other, what we noticed, etc. Although it was a weekday in December, the restaurant was fully booked.
