会社帰りにおいしいお店があるよ！とオススメされて同僚と行ってきました。
19時過ぎの赤坂は、仕事帰りの一杯を求める人でどのお店もいっぱい。
念の為、電話で確認したら空きがあるとのことで、急いで向かいました。
直前にお店に入った方は、満席で断られていたのでギリギリ間に合ったようです。
エスプラナード赤坂通りにある外観も良い雰囲気のお店です。
店内に入ると、ちょうど藁焼きをしていて豪快な炎を見ながらカウンターに着席。
注文したのは、
・かつをの塩たたき
・青さ海苔と豆腐サラダ
・うつぼの唐揚げ
・いも天
・炙り鯖棒寿司
分厚く切ったかつをの塩たたきは、みょうが、にんにく、ネギとお塩で。
実はカツオはあまり好まないのですが、生臭さがないこちらの塩たたきはおいしくいただけました！
うつぼの唐揚げ
食べるまではどきどきしましたが、塩味の効いたサクサクの衣に脂ののったふわっとしたウツボ。
次回は、うつぼの藁たたきを食べてみたくなりました。
女性にオススメしたのがいも天。
スイートポテトのように濾したサツマイモを丸く成形して衣を付けて揚げたいも天に蜜がかかっていました。
これは、デザートですね。とってもおいしかったです。
〆は炙り鯖棒寿司。この頃にはかなりお腹いっぱいでしたが、おいしいものは別腹。
脂の乗った鯖は、間違いないおいしさです。
20時過ぎ頃に鳴子が配られ、何だろう？と思っていたら、お店の方が「よさこい」を唄ってくれました。
こちらも鳴子を鳴らして参加。
近くの席にいた海外からのお客様が本当に楽しそうな顔をしていて、見ているこちらも楽しい気持ちになりました。
