赤坂二丁目界隈にはいい雰囲気・隠れ家的なレストラン、食事処が点在してます。その一つがこちらのレストラン。テラス席に店内も落ち着いた雰囲気のレストランです。
ローストホース丼や桜肉のユッケ丼等馬肉ランチメニューが目を惹きます。
本日のランチで選んだのはローストビーフではなく、ローストホース丼、お値段1200円と少しの高めですが、ヘルシーさ肉料理いただいてみした。
サラダに豆腐付き。この豆腐は胡麻豆腐、抜群の美味しさ甘さを感じ、他の胡麻豆腐の滑らかさとは異なり、舌に感じるこの食感がいいですね。具材たっぷりな味噌汁、意外にも和風な組合せ、これまた美味しい。
ローストホース、馬肉を分厚くどっさりと器を覆い、卵黄・きざみ海苔が盛り付けられ、ドロリとした濃いめのタレがかけられご飯に染み込んでます。見た目から美味しそう、目を楽しませてくれます。
馬肉はあっさりで食べやすく、味には癖がなし赤身。表面の焼きめ、肉はレアを残した柔らかな肉質。あっさりとした味わいなので濃いめのタレが良く合います。このタレときみ、そして海苔とご飯、絶妙な組合せ、美味しいどんぶりです。赤身肉好きには堪らない一品です。ボリュームもあって美味しく、満足度は高いですね。ちょっと高めの価格ですが、この内容なら申し分なしです。
