ChefMr. Yujiro Watanabe ~ The spirit of kindness that is utilized in cooking ~
Born in 1985, from Niigata Prefecture. Moved to Tokyo to take over the family business of a fresh fish store and caterer. He trained at famous restaurants such as Tsuyama, a long-established Japanese restaurant in Akasaka, and Shinbashi Kanedanaka, one of Japan's three major restaurants. Fascinated by the exciting people, time, and atmosphere that he met in Tokyo, he could not stand still, and decided to move to Akasaka, Tokyo in June 2018 to become independent at [Akasaka Watanabe].
SpaceA neat space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of Akasaka
A space that feels like a hideaway, a little away from downtown Akasaka. The light approach from the stairs is reminiscent of a Kyoto path. As you pass through the entrance, you can see the counter seats, and the long hallway that leads to a private room that you won't believe is indoors. The counter is made of a single piece of Japanese white cypress, and is a special seating area for only 8 people. Enjoy seasonal flavors and a cozy space.

A sense of playfulness can be glimpsed amidst the tradition and formality of Japanese Cuisine proud Koshihikari rice grown in the owner's hometown of Niigata is boiled hot in a hagama pot, and the fragrant roasted sesame seeds are carefully placed in a bowl to create a rich sesame sauce. .
