知人に招かれて本日はここで会食。
千代田線赤坂駅からすぐのビル地下にあるお店。私は初訪問。入り口には日本酒利き酒師や酒匠などの賞状が飾られており、日本酒好きにとっては期待が高まる。
本日は8品のコース。
先ず先付けとお椀がひと盆で登場。お椀は蓴菜の走りで季節感を感じる。ただし食事用赤出汁椀初訪問チト残念。一番出汁の味付けは濃いめで、この辺料理屋というより高級居酒屋の印象が強い。
ほたての霰揚げに続き、おそらくメインであろう前菜が登場。写真の通りひと皿に細々と8品盛られている。
これを八寸と言わず前菜と称しているのは頷ける。
そのあとお造り、焼き物、煮物と続く。焼き物の新茶ソース（魚の下にある緑のソース）は初めての体験。やや酸味があり、美味しい。
食事は生姜ご飯。新生姜の風味が豊かで、これも美味しい。ただしこのコースは全体的に味が濃いめで、やはりお酒を勧める意図が感じられる。実際どのお料理でも日本酒によく合い、乾杯の生ビールの後は仙禽をワイングラスで2杯いただいちゃった。
確かに日本酒の種類は豊富だが、全体的に少しお高め。やはり場所柄ですかね。
知人との久しぶりの再会に話が弾み、あっという間に３時間が経過。こういう席ならば、一品づつ説明を聞きながら緊張して食べる会席よりも、確かに酒肴の連続の気軽なコースの方が楽しめるのかもしれませんね♪
