昔、転勤で静岡に住んでいたとき、鰻といえば吉田町の鰻でした。休日には、吉田までうなぎを食べに車を走らせたものです。
ここは、その吉田町の鰻問屋さんが経営しているお店のようです。
昼時には、近くのオフィスで働く人たちのランチで賑わっています。
鰻重大富士を注文。まるまる一匹のうなぎで、ご飯が見えません。ふっくらと蒸し上がった肉厚のうなぎが、香ばしく焼けていて、タレは黒い甘さがなくさっぱりしています。鰻の脂自体の甘さがあるので、これくらいがちょうどいい感じです。
