再開発まっただなかの虎ノ門。あちこちでビル建築ラッシュですね。以前は虎ノ門交差点角のビル地下にあった「ケルン」さんは、ちょっと前にできたカッコいい高層ビルの2階に入り、とてもおしゃれになりました。
メニューは昔ながらのきちんとした洋食のまま。この日はハンバーグとカニコロッケのコンボランチ。どちらもレギュラーより小ぶりに作ってあって、素晴らしく適量です。ピカピカのライスの硬さもいい感じ。
ざっくり切ったコールスローを口に運んだら、前の前の、イイノビルにお店があったころの昭和の光景が一気によみがえりました。20代の会社員には、ケルンは仕事がんばったときに食べるご馳走でしたよ。変わらぬ味をありがとうございます。今もホールやキッチンに大勢の人がテキパキ働いて、タッチパネルも伝票もないのにきちんとお会計がされて、それがどんなに貴重なことか。
