木曜日の18:00に四ツ谷の『やきとり 宮川』へ。
人気店なので事前に予約して来ました。
4,000円の『堪能コース』をオーダー。
とりあえずドリンクは『生レモンサワー』。
瀬戸内レモン果汁と生レモンスライスが入ったレモンサワー。
程よい酸っぱさで美味いです。
前菜は『塩茹で落花生』。
殻を剥いて一口。美味い。
良い具合に塩味が付いていて、いきなり酒のアテとして1杯目を飲み干せそうです。
続いて『鴨ハム』。
山椒の佃煮を巻いて低温調理した逸品。
柚子胡椒を付けていただきます。
一口。美味い！
鴨の脂が上品で、ハムが絶妙な柔らかさながら歯応えもあり、山椒の佃煮が香りと味にインパクトを与えてます。
焼鳥に行く前のお口直しで、『自家製ぬか漬け』と『鬼おろし』。
『鬼おろし』とは大根おろしですが、おろし金ですらずに細かく刻んでます。
ここでドリンクのおかわりで『吉平しょうがサワー』。
高知県産しょうがを使った「生姜蜜」は甘過ぎず辛過ぎず美味い。
そして焼鳥に突入。
まずは『ささみ』。
一口。美味い。
”半生”と”しっかり焼き”のちょうど中間の絶妙な焼き加減。
ポーションも大きめで控えめのわさびも良いアクセント。
続いて『はつ』。
心臓の形がそのままでリアル。
『黒八味』との相性が良いとのこと。
一口。美味い！
プリプリでクセになる歯応え。これ、他で食べるハツより好きです。
名物『白い唐揚げ』。
塩だけの味付けなので自家製ポン酢で。
胸肉とモモ肉で、まずは胸肉から。
一口。美味い！ジューシー！
そしてモモ肉も一口。美味い！これまたジューシー！
このポン酢も強すぎず、唐揚げの塩味を邪魔しない唐揚げ専用ポン酢。
是非家用に欲しいです。
続いて『さえずり』。
一口。美味い。
歯応えがプリプリで脂と肉のバランスが絶妙。タレも美味い。
レバーの代わりに『せぎも』。
レバーとよく似た味わいですが、自分はせぎもの方が好きです。
『新れんこんの炭火焼き』。
お好みで塩でいただきます。
一口。美味い！
月並みですがれんこんが甘いです。
その甘さを塩が良い感じで引き立ててます。
最後に腿肉が二部位。
まず1つ目は『アキレス』。
柚子が乗っているのでそのままでいただきます。
一口。美味い！
胸肉のような食感。
2つ目は『ねぎま』。
定番が最後に登場とは。
一口。美味い！
腿肉が肉厚でネギも甘い。
下の腿肉には少し柚子胡椒が乗ってます。
ラストの〆は『鶏スープ』か『すごい卵かけご飯』のどちらかを選べます。
迷わず『卵かけご飯』。
おぉ、見た目が普通の卵かけご飯とは違い、メレンゲに少し焦げ目がついた個性的なビジュアル。
メレンゲを崩さずにレンゲでいただきます。
一口。美味い！
黄身は醤油漬けされて、味がしっかりついてます。
さらにメレンゲにも出汁醤油のような味付けがされていて、ご飯と一緒に食べると口の中で全ての味が混ざり絶品です。
4,000円でこのコースはメチャクチャ値打ちがあります。
