Izakaya Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Yotsuya. Around 5pm on Friday, Shinmichi Street was quiet with few people passing by, but the Western Cuisine Katsuretsu Yotsuya was the only one that stood out with a long line (lol) It was the only place where there were people, right after I passed by. This shop is located in the basement of Shinmichi Dori, a bar area right near Yotsuya Station. Take off your shoes at the entrance and relax ♪ The main room is a private room, but on this day I was given a seat in a private room with a sunken kotatsu. First of all, ◆Draft beer (lol) I'm going to moisten my throat with super dry. ◆Appetizer Instant-smoked appetizer Mentaiko, quail, and duck pastrami instantly smoked with Sakura wood.Smoking may seem like a time-consuming process, but it's finished in 1-2 minutes by trapping the smoke. It had a lot of flavor. ◆Farm Salad with 20 Kinds of Vegetables A pitcher of plenty of dressing is rich with cheese. There were plenty of vegetables, and I'm sure the vegetables were fresh from their own farm in Chiba Prefecture. Watercress, Romanesco, broccoli, etc. There were two types of tomatoes, red and yellow. ◆Raw Bluefin Tuna - Assortment of Lean, Broiled, and Namero This Japanese raw bluefin tuna, which has been landed and never frozen, can be enjoyed in three luxurious ways. The sashimi is fatty and melts in your mouth. The grilled meat with salt was really delicious. Namero has avocado in it, making it even creamier.Sashimi soy sauce and sweet soy sauce are available, so use your favorite soy sauce.◆Japanese-style spring rolls with yuzu and perilla leaves I love spring rolls! ! ! It has a strong flavor so you can eat it as is.Also, the specialty is Japanese sake, so there are many different brands available. There were so many different types that I decided on one after consulting with the store staff. But be sure to tell me what you like (lol) If you have half a cup of wine in a wine glass, you can compare the drinks! ! ! My recent favorite Yamada Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo ◆Kito Fruity, smooth and easy to drink. It's sweet, typical of Yamada Nishiki, and is definitely aimed at women. ◆Homemade Dashi-Maki Tamago Freshly baked and chewy. It contains mitsuba leaves, so it's colorful and you won't get tired of it. Refills of sake ◆Tatenogawa It's light and has a nice aftertaste, so you can easily drink it (lol). They also prepare Yawaragi water without you having to ask. ◆Teriyaki Kurose Yellowtail Kurose yellowtail is a brand fish from Miyazaki Prefecture, and it has no odor, is thick, soft, and plump. Great compatibility with Japanese sake! ! ! Last but not least is the signature dish, earthen pot taimeshi! ! ! I ordered it early because I was told it would take a while. ◆ Earthen pot taimeshi A whole sea bream is cooked and the lid is opened right in front of you.The delicious aroma that whets your appetite spreads out. It was said to serve 2-3 people, so if there was any leftover, they would wrap it up as a souvenir, so I asked. To relax yourself, pull yourself up and reappear. They separated it neatly. The flavor of the sea bream and the gentle seasoning of the soup stock are exquisite.First, you can eat it as is, then add the soup stock and eat it hitumabushi-style. ◆Dessert Strained red bean paste and vanilla ice cream Inside the crispy monaka, strained red bean paste, fresh cream, and cold vanilla ice cream. Full of volume. The staff was very kind, even making sure the room wasn't cold on the way. They said that on the weekend before the coronavirus, it was so busy that it was too popular to get in, but on this day, at first glance, it seemed like there were a lot of customers coming in from early on, and it seemed to be lively. After all, it's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that's close to the station and you can easily pop in, so I guess it's convenient. I ate the sea bream rice onigiri wrapped as a souvenir for lunch the next day.
