四ツ谷駅近くでランチしようと歩いてみた。人気の洋食屋は行列ができてるし、居酒屋ランチは気が進まない。有名なジャズ喫茶に足が向かいかけたが、一見さんには敷居が高いなあ。
かなり迷って、この立ち食いの寿司屋に入った。店内は寿司屋らしからぬおしゃれな造り。四ツ谷の八千代鮨の系列店らしい。
ランチのセットメニューを注文した。松竹梅で言えば竹かな。
まず寿司が美しい。ま、職人さんが握ってんだから当然ちゃ当然だけど、このコハダのピンとしたとこよ。
そのコハダが美味い。まさに、いい仕事してますね、だ。旬だからか白身がいい感じ。マグロももちろんいいけどね。
久しぶりに飲んだ熱々の赤だしにも感激した。オスシヤサンってこうじゃなくちゃ。
立ち食いにしてはお値段は安くないけど、これなら納得できるライン。そうそうは無理だけど。
