Lunch with mom friends. This time it's Japanese Cuisine in Kagurazaka. A 5,500 yen course from a restaurant whose specialty is shrimp shinjo. A narrow street in Kagurazaka. The shop was tucked away on a narrow cobblestone pavement that was a bit difficult to find. The store has counter and table seats. While there are various courses and easy lunch options, we all consulted and decided on a 5,500 yen course. The dishes include appetizers (mozuku vinegar, soup-wrapped eggs, fava beans, morokyuu, etc.) The dashi-wrapped eggs are sweet and have a comforting taste. The boiled shellfish is also delicious. And the sashimi is fresh with plenty of medium fatty tuna, octopus, scallops, and squid. And I was looking forward to the shrimp shinjo. It came with sauce, but I had it with salt. Fluffy and gentle taste. Then miso dengaku. Soft and delicious! Everyone ate the eggplant, even the skin. To finish your meal, you can choose chilled Ramen or white rice. This place is also famous for its chilled Ramen. I had a small portion of Ramen that my friend ordered. The rice comes with pickles and miso soup. Sweetness comes from fruit. It's fun to chat, and we laugh a lot, talk, eat, and laugh. It was a really fun time. Just the right amount of course. But the story wasn't over yet, so we headed to the next store for coffee.
