ルバイヤートと言えば、山梨県勝沼の名ワイナリーです。
何度も足を運んでワインを購入し、自宅で楽しんできました。
このたびの東京旅行で、ついに「神楽坂ルバイヤート」を訪れる機会がやってきました。
都営地下鉄大江戸線の牛込神楽坂駅で降り、スマホのナビを頼りに坂道をしばらく歩くと、街中に明かりがともるお店にたどり着きました。
店構えはよい雰囲気です。
店内もいい感じです。
カウンター席にかけ、メニューを見ながらつれあいと相談し、「ルバイヤートスペシャルペアリングセット」3,080円を２つ注文。
料理を待つ間、目の前のビンを見ながら、ワインの銘柄について「これは家にある」「これは知らないな」などと話をしているのと何だか不思議な感じ（まさかこの店に来られるとは、という）に陥ります。
さて、セットには４種類の前菜に３種類のワイン（少量）がついてきます。
スパークリング「エチュード」がやってきたので、つれあいが大いに喜んでいます。
いただく前に前菜ごとに合うワインが紹介され、本当にステキです。
特に「真鯛のカルパッチョ」が美味。
食べながらメイン料理について「甲州産麦芽ビーフのステーキ」に決めました。
おなかいっぱいにならないように、２人で１つ。
これがちょうどよかったです。
届いたお肉はたっぷりです。
そしてワインを２杯。
私は出たばかりの「新酒ヌーヴォー赤」を、つれあいは「ルバイヤート プティヴェルド」をそれぞれグラスで注文。
ヌーヴォーは例年と変わらぬフレッシュな風味、プティヴェルドは重み・深みのあるビーフにぴったりの味わい。
本当はゆっくりいただけるとよいのですが、おいしくてどんどん食べてぐいぐい飲んでしまいます。
「神楽坂ルバイヤート」、本当によい夜になりました。
