Tochikurige Oak Barrel Stored Barley Shochu 15 Years

Barley shochu distilled at Yanagita Sake Brewery was put into sherry barrels about 15 years ago and aged for 5 years, then transferred to enamel tanks and aged for another 10 years. Up to this point, this is a part of the unblended sake used in Tochikurige, but this time we specially took some of the shochu from the enamel tank into Mizunara barrels, aged it for about a year, and then returned it to the original tank for finishing purposes. I blended it. A sweet aroma derived from sherry barrels with oriental nuances derived from Quercus oak. The elegant and rich taste creates a luxurious time.
