Visited ``Yamahiko'' in Iidabashi. This is a Teppan-yaki restaurant located at Hotel Metropolitan Edmond. "Metropolitan" is a JR East group, so it's a calm hotel, and although it's not flashy, it's a hotel group that I like quite a lot because I can often get more than I paid for. Also, since it's a JR East train, the hotel is located in a good location near the station. The Japanese-style meal restaurant attached to the hotel's Teppan-yaki restaurant is called Yamabiko. I've used it several times, and my impression is that it's a classic Teppan-yaki restaurant, in a good way. Today, I made a reservation online for the "Sirloin Steak Lunch" (5,000 yen including tax) and visited. This is a Teppan-yaki course featuring 100g of Australian sirloin. Comes with one drink. Teppan-yaki where the food is cooked right in front of you is great. The sizzling sound of baking is indescribable. First, eat a salad, then eat some grilled vegetables, then have your main meat served medium-rare. I like lean meat, so this is just the right amount. We had a luxurious time at lunch, including a bowl of red soup stock. Teppan-yaki with a sense of stability at the hotel. I finished off with a chocolate brownie and yuzu sorbet to cleanse my palate. Payment was made by credit card. Receipts are invoiced. It was delicious. I'll come back later. Thank you for the meal.
