法務局におつかい。
用事をすませたランチ時、行きたいお店はお盆休みに入っていて、軒並み数軒に振られてしまう。
なんとか候補のひとつだった味さとさんの暖簾をくぐると、店員さんが、
一名ですか？
今日は一階のエアコンが故障してしまって、二階と三階にご案内しています、とおっしゃる。
階段が急なので、お気をつけてとお声がけがあり、二階の二人掛けのテーブル席にご案内いただいた。
メニューからお刺身定食（940円）をいただくことに。
しかし頼んでしまってから、はたと私は気づく。
そういえば私はお造りではご飯が食べられないのだった。
そう、お造りは私にとってはお酒のあてなのである。
しばらく待ってお膳が届く。
お造りは〆鯖・蛸各二切れ、鮪三切れ。
小鉢に切り干し大根、沢庵、ご飯、お味噌汁。
いただきますと、まずはお味噌汁で口をしめらせる。
熱々のお味噌汁は自分が作るような家庭的な味。
切り干し大根を少し口に含んでご飯を多い目に口に入れて食べ進める作戦。
合間にお造りをいってみましょう。
〆鯖はよく〆られているが、少し臭みがあった。
鮪は普通。
蛸は好物なので嬉しい。
だいたい茹でてある蛸は、もともとそう生臭いこともない。
大好きだが、最近高くて家で買えないのが寂しい。
頑張って切り干しでご飯を半分近く食べて、その後はおもむろに沢庵。
ちらし寿司なら普通に食べられるのに、お造りでご飯はダメというのはどういったことだろう。
まあ、酒飲み以外の何者でもないからだと理屈をつけてみた。
店員さんは年配の女性数名だったが、皆さん感じがよくて、
お茶も足りなくなってくるとすぐに注いでまわってくださる。
よいお店、いつか夜に伺って海の幸で飲んでみたいものだ。
