なまこ壁も屋根上の屋号看板も風に揺れるのれんも大変風情があります。いい店構えですね。入店するとL字カウンターの一席だけ空いていました。しかし後から後からどんどんお客さんが入店してきます。「3名様は3階へお願いします」と女将さん。3階まであるとは素敵な酒場です。皆さんどんどん階上へ吸い込まれていきます。とうとう満席でいよいよ「待たれてもお時間かかりますよ」と女将さんのご案内、スゴスゴと引き返すお客さんたち。それでも待つ一人客もいます。とにかくすごい大人気ですね！
昼メニューは刺身、フライ、焼きなどの魚料理がメインで、何かに偏ることなく皆さんいろいろオーダーされています。私は迷わずお刺身です。
…しかし、提供には時間がかかります。私は15分かかりましたが、まだいい方です。あとの方たちはオーダーから20分以上我慢して待っています。席が空くのを待っている方はいつご飯が口に入るのやら…。ラーメンと違って回転は速くありませんからねえ。それでも食べたいお品なんですねえ。
●「刺身定食」¥980
白菜のお新香、久しぶりだなあ。出汁がよく染みた切り干し大根、美味いなあ。これだけでご飯が半分くらい消費できそうです。いやしかしご飯は結構いい盛りをしているので私などは少なめで良かったかもしれません。
お刺身は、まぐろ赤身3切れ、いなだ2切れ、茹タコ2切れ。シンプルです。特筆はいなだ。おそらくいなだだと思うのですが、プリプリを通り越してコリコリ。すごい歯応え。しばらく舌の上で遊ばせておきます。まぐろは少し水っぽく感じますが味は濃いです。
ご飯が少し硬めのホクホク加減で美味しいですね。刺身、お新香、大根のローテーションを守って食べ進めました。
隣の方のシャケ焼きも美味しそうです。逆隣のカキフライも美味しいでしょうね。人気の理由がわかります。
しかしこの人気ぶりは仕事初めの九段下だからかもしれません。また毎日こうなのかもしれません。初訪問なので私にはわかりませんが到着と同時に座れたことはとにかくラッキーでした。
昼がこれなら夜は絶対予約しないとダメでしょうねえ。夜の肴たちにも期待が持てますねえ。いたか来てみたいものです。とりあえずはランチごちそうさまでした。
