This is a fish-based Japanese-style meal restaurant located about a 3-minute walk from Exit A3 of Awajicho Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. I noticed it as I was passing by and visited by myself during weekday lunchtime. I couldn't get in the first time because it was full, so I tried to get in at a later date. In the underground store, customers take off their shoes and store them in a shoe box with a mirror. I was guided to a semi-private room with a sunken kotatsu for 4 people and 2 tables. There was a group of four customers next to me. I didn't share the table, so I felt a little sorry that I had to use the table by myself. She brought me warm tea and a towel, and I ordered the "Special Grilled Fish Flavor Comparison" (1,000 yen). Apparently it comes with ``Kombucha'' or ``Coffee'', so I asked for ``Kombucha''. This will be brought to you first, so it will help you avoid being a bit hungry. I was also asked to enjoy the kelp inside, so I was able to enjoy the thick kelp as well. Now, regarding the ``Specially Selected Grilled Fish Taste Comparison'', it seems to be fish from Onahama Bansuke in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. At the time of my visit, the three-course meal consisted of atka mackerel, red sea bream, and mackerel. Among them, the taste of ``Akodai'' was so delicious that I had never tasted it before. I was also impressed by how delicious each grain of rice was. The miso soup with wakame was also thick and delicious. Just when I thought this rice was delicious, I learned that it was farmer Choichiro Ishikawa's new rice this year, pesticide-free sun-dried Koshihikari from Tochigi Prefecture. I was surprised at how different even just one meal was to eating it at home. Apparently you can also make reservations for lunch, so if you're in a group, it might be a good idea to make a reservation. The sake lineup looked good, so I'm interested in the evening session, but the seating is set up in semi-private rooms, so it might be a little difficult to use alone. I would like to visit you again for lunch.
