4月なのに雨降る寒い日なので、体を温める辛味ランチを求め当店へ。狭い急勾配の階段を２階に昇る。中国の飾り物いっぱいの店内に、テーブルが窮屈に詰め込まれ、密度が高い。
一律1000円、11種類のランチメニューが並ぶ。近くにある、魯香酒樓や随苑では、600〜800円で、メイン料理＋点心や炒飯、スープ、杏仁豆腐等が食べ放題。これに慣れると神田のランチとしてはかなり強気の価格設定。しかもお代わりできるのはご飯のみ。味で相当差別化が図られないと。以前はもう少し安く、食べ放題の時期もあったが、コロナ禍等でやむを得ないのか。
少し悩み、酸辣湯麺と炒飯のセットを注文。すぐに来た！炒飯はじめ、味玉子、春巻は作り置き。酸辣湯麺は細麺なので、すぐ完成するのだろう。細切り筍と椎茸、豆腐の存在感ある具に、とろみと辛味と酸味が同居。熱すぎて、中々攻略できない。麺が細いので、のびないか心配。
炒飯はセットというには少なく、春巻等も食べ放題店と比べると、味も大同小異で、満腹感が得られないため、割高に感じてしまう。
老地方は、中国語で「いつもの場所」的な意味だが、私にとっては、いつもの場所にならないかも。
でも、しっかり汗はかきました。ご馳走様でした。
