久々に牡蠣を食べようと予約して一次会へ。
東日本大震災の年の夏に東北地方へツーリングに行った。仙台から少し離れた海沿いの街に親戚がいて幼い頃何度か行った記憶がある。
しかし目の前にある光景は津波で流された後の荒地だけだった。車も殆ど通ることはない。その後北上して岩手にも行った。傷跡は各地に残っていた。
その数年後だったろうか、松島に寄った。牡蠣を扱う店に入った。かつて松島の牡蠣だったが、養殖は壊滅的で青森の牡蠣を使っていた。しかし、更に数年経ち、宮城の牡蠣の水揚げも回復したようだ。自然の脅威と共に自然の再生力も感じる。
ここの牡蠣は宮城産らしい。東北の今を思いつつ日本酒を酌み交わした。
