We will close on March 25, 2023. From February 10 to March 25, we will only be offering Kawabata Kiyoo's final special appreciation menu for 11,000 yen for both lunch and dinner. We have set an age limit for our restaurant. 以上がラインナップ。
まず印象に残るのがサーモンのスモーキーな美味さ、パンももちろん極上。バターと合わせて食べるとものすごく美味。
そしてオニオングラタン、チーズとオニオンの旨みたっぷりですが、エグみがなく上品な味わい。
用事があり外に出ると入り口には還暦を迎えられた川端シェフからのメッセージ。
「四十数年前、バッグ一つで上京し食べたこともないフランス料理の調理場に飛び込み、正直と努力をモットーに心をこめた料理作りに精一杯励んで参りました。もしもまた生まれ変わり何の職業に就くかという選択があるとしたらフランス料理のシェフです」と。近々、引退なさるのですね。残念です。。
まだまだ料理は続きます。メインのマダラのムース、牛肉の赤ワイン煮。それぞれここはフランスかあ！という本格的な味わいですが、どこかしっとりな味わい。メッセージを拝見してなおさら、シェフの心が伝わってくる味わいに感じました。
デザートのモンブランはどこかエレガント。エスプレッソいただきご馳走様。全てとても美味しかったです。
しばらくフランスには行ってないし、もう一度くらい伺いたいと思う、素晴らしい本格フレンチでした。
