Kanda before 12 noon. I headed for a Belgian restaurant through the west exit shopping street, but it was fully booked...maybe it was a welcome and farewell party at the end of the year. It was a sunny day at my workplace, and we were supposed to have a farewell party, but the person who was supposed to be leaving had followed us to his new place, so we had to leave the party behind. On the way back to the station, I headed over to Hotaru. Below is what I ordered from the lunch menu. Seafood Bara Chirashi Don (1000 yen) It's good that you are not forced to sit at the counter even if you are alone. I quickly took a seat by the window lol and was served hot roasted green tea. I am grateful that there are many stores that offer cold drinks. You can also refill it in a pot on the table. While drinking roasted tea, the food arrived. A bowl of rice topped with pork, pork soup, and Small dish of potato salad with pickled vegetables. I was a little disappointed in the barachirashi bowl because it looked like eggs and cucumbers, but when I started eating it, I found that there was surprisingly a lot of sashimi from tuna, shrimp, salmon, and red sea bream, and I didn't even have to pay attention to the balance with the vinegared rice. (In fact, I ended up with some sashimi left over.) It was delicious. It was a day with a cold north wind, but we were full and satisfied with a delicious Seafood lunch while basking in the sun by the window.
