狭い入口から、そのまま実質6席のみのカウンターに向かう、細長く狭い店。マスター一人で切り盛りする。
以前から、ランチは990円のチキン南蛮のみ。小鉢の内容も不変。ご飯の量が普通なら、カウンターに座るだけでオーダーが通る。
厚い地鶏胸肉を一枚使い、オーダーを受けてから、油でじっくり揚げるので、しばし待つ。サラダの上に揚げたてチキンを乗せ、タルタルソースをかけて、チキン南蛮登場。ご飯は大盛をお願いする。
チキンは肉厚なので、結構なボリューム。しっかり味がついた衣。ただ、チキンばかりだと味が単調となり、食べ進めるのに難儀する。棒棒鶏の小鉢、漬物、海藻入り赤だしを交じえ、味に変化をつける。
カウンターの上には、奥久慈卵が置いてある。残ったご飯をTKGにして、サラサラ食べて終了。鶏をいっぱい食べました。ご馳走様でした。
