私は基本、東京に行っても寿司店に入ることはほとんどありません。
やはり、イメージ的に東京の寿司店は敷居が高く、私の住む石川県に比べて、ネタの割にはお値段が高い！ということからです。
ネットで調べてみると、本店となっていますが他に支店があるとは書かれていませんでした。あと、東銀座や福岡などにも江戸銀という名前の寿司店がありましたが、これらは違うようですね。
場所は神保町の交差点からすぐのところで、古い雑居ビルの１階奥にありました。
お店のＨＰを見ると、昭和34年(1959年)創業と書かれていて、その時点から神保町にあるという年季が入っているお店です。創業者は当時の寿司の世界では珍しい女性だったようです。
店内に入ると、１階エリアだけだとカウンター席と８席のテーブル席というこじんまりとしたスペースでしたが、２階に座敷の席があり宴会需要にも対応できるようです。
ランチメニューは色々あり、どれもリーズナブルな値段で、私は「旬にぎり(1,200円)」を頼むことにしました。
早めの時間帯だったのですぐに出されます。
10貫と玉子という内容でした。そこそこのネタの種類。これで1,200円とはすばらしい。
先ほどのお好み握りのメニューの１貫当たりの値段を見ると、ランチのこのお値段は驚きです。もっともネタの違はありますが…。
ランチタイムは味噌汁と一品が付いていて、この日は蕎麦！しかし、この少ない量の蕎麦は何となく違和感がありました。
もちろん、1,200円で贅沢は言ってはいられません。コスパ的には超お勧めです。
ちなみに、こちらのお店、出張寿司やまぐろ解体ショーなどもやっているようです。ご馳走様でした。
