休日の買い物で神保町へ、ランチは「野菜を食べたい気分！」とサラダバーがあるイタリアン「ビストロクウ」でいただきました。駿河台下交差点の近くにあるお店、何度かお店の前を通っているのですが、サラダバーがあるお店とは知らず、ランチの場所を食べログで探している時に見つけたもの。
平日、休日ともにランチメニューがあります。サラダバー、前菜、メイン、デザート、パン、コーヒーが付くランチコースは2,000円とお手頃。その他、パスタやプレートのランチがあり、サラダバーまたはデザートがセットになっています。
伺ったのは11時過ぎ、早い時間でしたので、予約なしでも問題なく入店できました。平日のランチタイムには行列ができるようですが、休日は比較的空いています。店内のメニューを見ると、店頭の看板と同じ内容。パスタランチはパスタ3種類の中から選ぶもの、そのほか、プレートランチのメインは肉か魚から選べるようになっています。
前菜からデザート食後のコーヒーまでついたコースメニューにも惹かれます。日替わりのお料理をみて、パスタランチのあさりとタケノコの組み合わせに惹かれ、夫婦ともに同じパスタのランチでサラダバーを選びました。
オーダーを終え、サラダバーの様子を見に行ってきました。キッチン近くの冷蔵ケースの中にサラダバーの野菜が並んでいます。レタス、ブロッコリー、オニオンスライス、ミニトマト、ニンジン、カイワレ、キャベツ、ジャガイモ、ベビーコーン、枝豆、カリフラワー、海藻、コーンと種類豊富。ドレッシングは、玉ねぎとバルサミコの2種類用意がありました。
好みの野菜をいただいてきました。どの野菜もパリパリで新鮮、特に美味しいと思ったのは茹で加減が絶妙なブロッコリーと甘いコーン。何も付けずそのままでいただくのが良いと思うほど。玉ねぎのドレッシングが自家製と思われたので、試してみると、すりおろした玉ねぎが美味しく、普段は使わないドレッシングをかけようと思ってしまいました。
■旬のアサリとタケノコのクリームソース（1,100円）
季節の食材であるアサリとタケノコの文字を見て食べたくなり選んだも、クリームソースに黒胡椒がかかっています。アサリの出汁がクリームソース全体に広がる風味豊かなソース、歯ごたえのある筍とれんこんが良いアクセントになっています。ソースの味は薄め、さらっとしたソースで食べやすく、夫婦の好み。ブラックペッパーもよく効いた美味しいパスタ、あっという間に完食してしまいました。パスタそのものは食べやすいボリューム、男性には少し物足りないかなと思うポーションでしたので、美味しかったサラダを2回ほどお代わりして、野菜も満喫できました。
外食では野菜不足になりがちですが、サラダバーがあるとバランスが取れてうれしいもの。なによりもサラダの野菜が新鮮だったのもよく、大満足のランチになりました。パスタもプレートもメニューは日替わりのようですので、また伺えればと思っています。
