庄や水道橋店が「伝説の一号店」のキャッチコピーと共にオープン。コピー通りここが1973年に産声をあげた庄やの誕生地なんだそうです。
例によってオープン記念でお得ランチ「自慢の海鮮丼」が通常950円のところ500円とか言うので寄ってみました。最近このパターンばっかりですが。
店内は庄や他店舗と同じような至って普通の居酒屋スタイルですが、店員の対応はオープン初日だからと言うこともあってか、頗る良い。
大庄グループのお店は店員の対応にはかなり気を遣っているようで、特にオープン直後は超がつくほど丁寧です。オープン後もずっとこの調子だったら良いのですが。
海鮮丼は、イクラ、コハダ、マグロ、サバ、ハマチ、サーモン、タコ、玉子等、一般的なネタが一通り載った丼で、鮮度はまあまあで美味。これが500円なんで素晴らしいんですが、950円だったらちょっとどうかなと思ってしまいます。
それよりもワタシ的には、通常のランチメニューはどんな感じか知りたいものですねえ。
特に居酒屋ランチといえば、定番のサバやサンマ等の魚料理系の定食。この手の食材は漁獲高が減ったり小振りなものしか獲れなくなってしまった昨今、どんなふうに提供してくれるか気になるところです。
