``The same product is provided at a certain level and at a reasonable price anytime and anywhere.'' While this is a strength of chain stores, there are also those who view them as lacking individuality and interest. Personally, I strongly believe in the latter view, and the only large-scale chain stores that I return to are Mac, Matsuya, and Saize, but only a few times a year, and I tend to go to independent stores. Meanwhile, ``Shoya'' is located in Suidobashi, a place where people tend to hang around on their way home from work. There is a sign posted, which says that this is the first store (opened in 1973). Although I was vaguely concerned about it, I continued to ignore it, thinking, ``But it's still the same as Shoya.'' However, I was still curious. You'll feel better if you go once. So, I entered the store. Surprisingly, this is my first time drinking a medium bottle of Asahi "Maruefu". I like it better than Super Dry, it's not bad. The appetizer is unusual with broccoli dip. It seems like they use fresh broccoli instead of frozen broccoli, which gives it a nice chewy texture. Although the menu is fish-oriented, I think it has a reasonably wide range of Japanese, Western, Ethnic Cuisine. I ordered one serving of motsu stew and one serving of sashimi. Stewed offal: Average Sashimi: It wasn't runny, but had a crunchy texture that gave it a good sense of freshness. The treatment is also nice. The store's slogan is ``a restaurant with chefs,'' and I got the impression that it was definitely a bit different from the discount chain stores.
