居酒屋「庄や」の第一号店が水道橋にあります。「庄や本家店」として創業し、現在も「庄や 水道橋店」として営業されています。巨大居酒屋チェーン「大庄グループ」の一業務形態です。「やるき茶屋」や「日本海庄や」など日本の居酒屋界をリードしてきたパイオニアですね。そのまた一業務形態である「大庄水産 水道橋店」に今日は来てみました。原点に近い場所にあるので、何か店構えに威風堂々とした雰囲気を感じます。
ここは夜になれば、刺身、浜焼き、フライや焼き物など、新鮮魚介のオンパレードでしかも廉価なのでかなり楽しめるお店なんです。今回はランチでは 初めて来てみました。
オーダーした後に、メニュー表にない品名を食べていたりお会計をしたりしているんです。どこにそんなメニューが！私が見落とすとは！ミックスフライなんて書いてないだろうか！…まあいいか、限定30食ランチにありつけたから。
「海鮮丼」¥680
これこれ。どれどれ、載っているのは…まぐろ赤身、サーモン、穴子、さば、ボイル海老、イカ、玉子。うん、まずまず。価格なりのクオリティですね。面積を占めているシソの葉を退かすと、特に何もなく白いご飯。ちょっとご飯とネタのバランスが良くないかなあ。このご飯の量ならもう一、二品載せて欲しいところ！
ネタそれぞれの質もまずまず。まあランチ仕様ということですかね。夜はもうちょい気合を感じるんですがね。
日替わりランチが気合が入っていて良さそうですね。隣の方が食べていました。バカのひとつ覚えみたいに海鮮丼ばかり食べている場合ではないですね。いろいろチャレンジしないと。
というわけでまた夜にきます。大庄水産の極意は、夜にあり！
でもランチはランチでごちそうさま。次回はメニューにないメニューを探し出します。
