2022年3月某日の13時過ぎに訪ねた。
水道橋駅から徒歩3分ほどの場所にある海鮮居酒屋「大庄水産 水道橋店」。
前からランチメニューが気になっていたので訪問。
広々とした店内には先客5,6名ほど。
カウンター席に1人で座り、ランチメニューから「粋な刺身定食」¥1,000を注文。
7,8分ほど待って提供される。
ねぎとろを含んで6種の刺身が盛り込まれている。そこにご飯、味噌汁、たくあんというシンプルな構成の定食。
マグロの赤身、白身2種、イカ、サーモン、ねぎとろの刺身各種は鮮度が程好い。厚みのある刺身をわさびと醤油で味わいながらご飯を食べる。
ワカメとネギの入ったシンプルな味噌汁、細切りのたくあんで刺身の味わいを補完しつつ定食を堪能。
ツマと大葉を良い塩梅で刺身に合わせる配分を楽しみながら食べ進める。
カロリー控えめなので、ボリュームはそれなりにあるがヘルシーな定食。完食しても程好い満腹感で収まる。
シンプルな刺身定食で1,000円という値段設定は店の規模を考えると若干高いような印象はある。
とは言え、大庄グループの海鮮の仕入れ力を見せつけられるような定食。1人飲みでも利用しやすい席の配置を確かめられたランチでの利用でもあった。
夜の利用も良いが、混雑しない店で気軽に海鮮ランチを食べたい時にはオススメ。
