Today, my wife usually goes to work and has lunch alone. I usually cook for myself, but I've been busy for the past few days and haven't had much time. Normally, I would go to [A:13237407, Suzukino], but today it was Wednesday and I had a day off, so I think this place is a new development. That's why I came to the palace. It's suspicious if it only says "Goten" on a white background (excuse me), but the lunch menu in front of the store is quite normal w and costs 700 yen including tax. Come to think of it, this place was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) before it became this store, although I never went in. I went in for the first time, but it has nothing to do with the gorgeousness of the name Goten, and it is an atmosphere where a very ordinary Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is open for lunch. There are a lot of tables lined up, so it feels more like a school cafeteria. There is also a counter seat in the back, so it seems that the capacity is unexpectedly large. I was told to take a seat of my choice, and I took a seat at a table near the entrance. Lunch is all tax-included, daily specials, beef curry, limited quantity Omelette Rice (why is Omelette Rice limited?), and katsu curry. The limited quantity Omelette Rice was sold out as promised, so I went with the daily chicken sautéed with Japanese-style mushroom sauce. I searched for what kind of store Goten was. It is said that the Yamagami Palace of the Toyama Domain was relocated to the shore of Sanshiro Pond and was in business, but it was destroyed by fire, and the Cafeterias of the Yamagami Chamber of Commerce that was built on the site was said to be commonly known as the Goten, so it was named the store. I see, does that mean that it was originally a palace regardless of the atmosphere of the store? Here came the sautéed chicken. It is topped with a thick mushroom sauce, and for some reason, it is served with eggplant tempura. The sauce is a bit sweet, but passable. In addition to rice, there is a salad and a soup bowl. This is cheap for 700 yen including tax. However, there was no particular taste and it was not voluminous, so I finished eating it somehow. Coffee or tea is served after meals, so you can relax if you have time. Posters of highballs, draft beer, and manufacturers are sticky on the walls, and labels of Japan sake are also sticky w I understand the desire to appeal what kind of sake the store handles, but it's a palace. Oh, there is a price list by number of tulip fried chicken w It is interesting to have a sense of abruptness. As expected, Goten. So it was fun to watch in the store. It was a treat.
