I think all Japanese people were relieved when the image of Xiang Xiang cheerfully biting into bamboo shoots was shown on TV the other day. However, there are many people who still don't understand why they are there. Now, this is a Chinese Cuisine restaurant with the name Shanshan. 2nd floor of prime corner lot at Hongo 3-chome intersection. All the staff are native speakers, and the host and proprietress are always talking loudly with the Chinese customers, so you can really feel the authentic atmosphere. The table, chairs, and banquette are all chinoiserie. Or rather, not the wind, but the real thing. Both the words and the space are powerful. The lunch menu consists of three soulful dishes. When I looked at the dinner menu, I saw a lot of local home-cooked dishes, so I was looking forward to lunch, but there were only three options. It's a waste, if there were more, more customers would come. ●“Taiwanese Luro Rice + Wonton Soup Lunch” ¥880 Lunch rice. Before that, it would be nice to have an appetizer. The center is a turmeric-flavored chicken wing. What's on the left? It's Hachinosu style, but I don't know what kind of fibrous tofu it is, like deep-fried tofu, but it's soaked in sauce and delicious. On the left is spicy bean sprouts. Hmm, it makes me want to drink it. As expected, this is a Chinese home-cooked bar. There seemed to be a lot of Cantonese-based food, but lunch was Taiwanese. It's wide. This comes with wonton soup. That's a lot of weight. The pork rice is carefully prepared. The taste doesn't have much of the minty or Taiwanese night market aroma, but it is well simmered in a sweet and spicy sauce. It also contains carrots and an egg. delicious. The wonton soup is also well made. These wontons look like goldfish swimming in them. The soup is often Ramen soup at local Chinese restaurants, but this one is flavored with spices. We haven't skimped on lunch either. It's well crafted. However, there are few menus. I wish they would follow the momentum of the evening menu and serve some more unique dishes. With this, more customers will come. Thank you for the meal. It was a satisfying lunch. It's quite difficult to come here at night, but it's a bar you'll want to visit. Looks good.
