ＪＲ御徒町駅と昭和通りの間の宝石商が並ぶ区画にある。
南口から昭和通り側に歩いて3分。
ルビーストリート(南北通り)と翡翠(ひすい)アベニュー(東西通り)が交差する交差点近く、へぎそばの看板が目印。
※ストリート(南北通り)は、JR高架線から順番に、サンゴ、ルビー、サフィア…
アベニュー(東西通り)は、エメラルド、翡翠(ひすい)、ダイヤモンド…の順に区画されている
へぎ蕎麦とは、小麦粉の代わりに、布海苔（ふのり）を使いコシを強くしている。
せいろに載せた蕎麦を「せいろそば」と呼ぶように、
片木（へぎ）と呼ばれる板状の器に載せるので
「へぎそば」というらしい。
店着は11:40〜
先客万来、7、8組が既に注文済みで着丼待ち。
テーブルが大小、奥の席も合わせると50、60席はありそう。3人の中居さんが忙しなく働いている。
次から次へと来店で活況だ。
天丼定食をオーダー

薄衣で照りの強い甘めのタレがかかっている。
足りなければとタレが小瓶で提供されたが十分だ。
ネタは、えび、イカ、ナス、ごぼうのかき揚げ、カリッと揚げられている。
ご飯は硬めだが、粘質の強いコメでテカり不足だ
・へぎ蕎麦
へぎに一口サイズに手練りされておらず、丼にぶっかけ状態。これでもへぎ蕎麦なのかと疑問に思いつつ一口。
(これはかけそばと呼ぶらしい)
独特の喉越しは良く、コシも強く噛み応えあり。
あっさとしたタレは好感で何杯でも食べれそうだ。
他のお客さんは、へぎに載せて食べている
食べて仕舞えば同じだが、へぎが王道の様だ
お客さんは次から次へひっきりなし…
これからの季節、冷やし中華に並んで、今年は蕎麦もあり、
そして、さらにへぎ蕎麦もランクインだと再認識した。
