上野。
久しぶりに会う地元の友人とサッカー観戦をする休日。
彼とは5年ぶりの再会。会わない間にお互い結婚もし、話したいことが山ほどある。
時間は昼時。
サッカーまでに時間があるので、昼飲みしながらゆっくり話すことに。
駅から近かったのでなんとなく入店したこちらの酒亭じゅらく。
後から気付いたが駅前のレストラン『じゅらく』と系列らしい。
ちなみにそちらも行ったことあるが、個人的にはあんまり良いイメージがない。。。。
気を取り直して、隅田川ブルーイング琥珀の時間で乾杯。
これは美味い。
甘みが強いが後味スッキリ飲めるのが特徴で、かなり抽象的に言うと、GUINNESSからクドさを取って、クリアに、そして後味をより優雅にしたような感じ。
昼飲みの1杯目としては良いスタート。
肉豆腐や出汁巻などの定番に加え、
大串3点盛、刺身の桶盛、干物3点盛など名物っぽいものも注文。
定番物は可もなく不可もなくと言ったところだが、正直このレベルの味では価格設定がやや割高に感じる。
大串盛り合わせも3本で715円とやや強気。
タレの味が薄く、肉質自体も普通。大きさもそこまでといった印象。
業態が違うので比較するのはお門違いかもしれないが、某大手鳥チェーンの方がコスパも味も良い気がする。
一夜干し3種盛
内容はコマイ、ハタハタ、ノドグロ。
どれも（写真撮り忘れ悪しからず…）見た目が貧相で、食べるところも少ない。
ノドグロは身が甘くて美味いが、その他2種は微妙。こんな小さくてもやはりノドグロはすごい。
これで990円。。。
そして刺身の桶盛がこの日のワースト。
カットを厚切りにして食感を演出しているが、肝心の旨味がゼロ。
脂が乗っていないとかそういう問題ではなく、鮮度が低いのか、処理の問題か、かなり水っぽい。特にマグロは酷い。
桶盛というだけあって見栄えだけは悪くないが、個人的にはこの味に1850円は払えない。
やはりじゅらく。。
結果的には系列店同様、立地の良さ以外酷評になってしまった。。。
でも席は快適で、昼からゆっくり飲む環境としては悪くはなかったかな。
