江戸城の御臺所御賄方（おだいどころおまかないかた）〈食事の世話をする人達〉の武家屋敷が集う町として、ここ外神田二丁目界隈は「神田明神下御臺所町」と呼ばれていたそうな。
銭形平次が居を構えた場所として時代劇の舞台にもなり、江戸の粋な風情が残る街。

神田明神社の男坂下にある天ぷら・寿司屋。
（明神女坂は廃道となり神田明神境内案内図には裏参道（旧女坂）と記載されています。その裏参道を今でも女坂と呼ぶ人は多くいます。男坂に標識はありますが、女坂と呼ばれている坂には標識はありません）
明るく清潔感のある店内。
カウンター席に案内され、注文したのは店名の付いた「みやび天丼1.000円（海老、鱚、烏賊、野菜四種）」サラダ、お新香、お椀付きです。
野菜四種は、しし唐、茄子、玉ねぎ、舞茸でした。
丼タレはあっさりで野菜の天ぷらが特に美味しかったです。
この佇まい、雰囲気で1.000円の天丼はお安いと思います。
カウンターにある白い大きな扇は、目の前で揚げてる天ぷらの油跳ねを防ぐ物かと思っていたら、配膳されたのちに、店員さんが脇に置いて感染防止対策、ナイスアイデア。風情があって、外国人観光客には喜ばれそう。外国人観光客が来れるようになったら感染防止対策は必要ないけど。
