湯島天神下の交差点から30秒。普段は気付かずに通り過ぎていたビストロに一見で立ち寄った。扉を開けるだけで直ぐに判る温かな雰囲気。常連と思わしき品の良い先客。
黒板に書かれた旬のメニューから数品を注文し改めて店内を見渡す。程よいレトロ感はこの街に上手に溶け込んでいる。最初に供されたのは、たっぷりのバターとグラナ・パダーノというハード系のチーズを加えて280℃のオーブンで焼き直したバケット。皮のパリパリ感と中のフワフワ感は、もうそれだけで幸せになれる。そしてこれから食する品々への期待も膨らむ。ブイヤベース仕立てのアオリイカと春キャベツの炒め物、アオリイカとカブのマリネ、そして谷中生姜の豚バラ巻。和の食材をシェフが素敵なフレンチへとアレンジした皿はどれもが大満足。
もうこちらで10年も営業されているとのこと。今まで気付かなかったことが残念でならない。ご馳走様でした。
