I went there for lunch. It's located on the second floor of a building a short walk from Yushima Station into the Yushima Hakubai Shopping Street. There's a sign, so it's easy to find. I was attracted by the banner advertising fresh fish caught that morning and entered the restaurant. The restaurant has about 30 seats, including tables and a raised area. It has an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) atmosphere. It was around 12:30. There was one customer ahead of me. No customers after me. It was empty. This time, I had the "Today's Whimsical Lunch" recommended by the staff. It consisted of ginger pork and sashimi. I waited about 7 minutes while listening to black music, and it was served. I feel like the music doesn't match the restaurant. The ginger pork wasn't delicious, but it wasn't bad either, and it was neither good nor bad. It goes well with rice. However, it's a shame that the rice was crushed and soggy in some places. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. This is also blissful when eaten with rice. The miso soup is made with fish bones. It's okay. I had dessert and finished the meal in no time. I was satisfied. All this cost 850 yen. I think the cost performance is normal. This restaurant seems to offer free large servings of rice, refills, and refills of miso soup. It might be good for people who like to eat. I'd like to visit again when I've forgotten about it.
