I had a different destination restaurant for the day, but when I went there, that destination restaurant itself was not there. I wandered around looking for it, but it seemed to be closed (^_^; Now I'm in trouble. I have no idea where to go for an alternative, and since it is far from Akihabara station, and I am not familiar with this area yet, I don't know of any stores that I can look for. Let's go back to Akihabara station for the time being. While I was thinking that I did not want to wander around in this heat, a person walking in front of me entered a store. That store is our store. The signboard reads "Cow tongue and highball store," but when I looked at the menu outside, I saw that the lineup was Chinese. Since my destination was a Chinese restaurant and I was in the mood for Chinese food, I decided to enter this restaurant. When I entered the restaurant, I was guided to a seat for four people, even though the counter seats were available, as if the peak time had passed. The lunch menu is inexpensive, starting at 750 yen, but the most expensive is 900 yen. Set meals and Noodles are generally available for 750 to 780 yen. I ordered the daily special of noodles with five-meat sauce and mini fried rice (780 yen). The noodles and pickles were served first. The five-ingredient noodle dish includes pork, shrimp, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, carrots, and wood ear. Although the ingredients are a bit small, the flavor of the ankake is delicious and not too strong. The noodles were medium-thick Chinese noodles and chewy, and I ate them while huffing and puffing from the heat of the starchy sauce. The mini fried rice served later was a simple fried rice with only an egg and scallions. The fried rice was not kept warm in the rice cooker, but was cooked properly and seasoned just right. The pickles were pre-made. To be honest, I would have preferred to have them with or without pickles. Considering the taste, 780 yen for the noodles and mini fried rice was a good price. It is typical of Akihabara to have a hole-in-the-wall lunch in such a back alley. I was disappointed when I couldn't find the restaurant I was looking for, but I found a good lunch place without thinking about it. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the food.
