東京都台東区上野５丁目にある串揚げ。串かつの「串カツあらた 上野御徒町店」です。最寄駅はJR山手線、JR京浜東北線の御徒町駅、都営大江戸線の上野御徒町駅、東京メトロ銀座線の上野広小路駅になります。
仕事帰りに御徒町で電車の乗り換えがあり、駅近くで食事をしようと考えていたところ見つけたのが「串カツあらた 上野御徒町店」です。
「串カツあらた 上野御徒町店」の入口の扉を開けて店内に入ると店員さんが来ましたので1人で来たことを告げるとカウンター席に案内されました。まずはウーロン茶を注文。メニューの中からとり皮おろしポン酢、串かつ(牛)、豚、鶏、子持ちこんぶ、うずら、イカ、タコ、マグロ、海老、玉ねぎ、蓮根を注文しました。
全体的に串揚げの味はまあまあでした。衣に何か味が付けてあるようで個人的にはそれが合わないように思いました。食べた中で相対的に良かったのは子持ち昆布でした。その他はあまり印象に残ってません。玉ねぎや蓮根などの野菜の串揚げの価格設定が少々高いように感じました。チェーン店ですと「串カツ田中」の方が味は上でコスパもいいと思いました。とり皮おろしポン酢の味もまあまあでしたし、ウーロン茶が追加料金でジョッキサイズになるのがよかったくらいでしょうか。
