I stayed here one night when I went to Tokyo for an overnight stay with some drinking buddies.帰りました。 English: The organizer had made the reservations and so I don't know the details, but we had the whole place to ourselves m(_ _)m They also took us to and from the hotel in a minibus, so we were treated very well ( ̄▽ ̄) Tokyo is a crowded city and the streets are always chaotic and confusing, so pick-up and drop-off is a great service for a country bumpkin (^^♪ This was my third time on Japanese traditional houseboat (the previous two were for work parties), but it seemed like it was the first time for most of my friends (p_-) It was my first time in Tokyo too...^^; To get straight to the point, this time was the more fun than the previous two times. Of course it's fun to rent Japanese traditional houseboat Japanese traditional houseboat for yourself and party with old friends...lol The price this time was 10,800 yen per person, which included the 2.5 hour boarding fee, food, alcohol, transportation, Karaoke, etc. ( ̄▽ ̄) Once on board, you take off your shoes at the entrance at the back of the boat, put them in a plastic bag, and enter the tatami-covered interior. The ceiling is quite low, so you have to bend down a little to get to your table seat. At the table, oden, sashimi platters, pickles, grilled shellfish Grilled skewer, and other items were already prepared. There were about 10 of us on the day. The boatman and Nakai were the only two people on the boat, but I only met the boatman when we got on and off. After that, Nakai managed everything else. The boat left the shore and the party began. First, we toasted with bottled beer. There was draft beer, but drinks were basically self-service. For bottled beer, we had to ask Nakai to bring it to us. There were a variety of alcoholic drinks, but I usually drink whiskey highballs from start to finish^^; The sashimi platter was fresh and had a good variety. It might be rude to say that I wasn't expecting it, but... the bar was low, so I was impressed (^^ゞ The oden was served in a clay pot on the stove, piping hot! It's nice at this time of year^^ Next to me, the group Da○you Club was doing their usual routine...lol The tempura was brought out piping hot. It wasn't all at once, but just as the shrimp was brought out and we finished eating, the goby came, and just as we finished eating the goby, the next dish came out (´∀`) Moreover, the tempura was freshly fried, hot, and light. In the past, I have been served tempura at soba restaurants that was not as good as this one, so I think the level is not low (゜゜) I think Nakai is the one frying it, and I saw that he was quite skilled ^^ Drinking with friends while watching the night view of Tokyo from the boat, eating freshly fried tempura, and listening to Karaoke that plays when you get drunk at a local bar felt special (≧▽≦) You can only experience this Japanese traditional houseboat. I forgot how much time was left, but Nakai brought out piping hot clam miso soup, which was nice (´∀`) At that time, he said, "If anyone wants rice, we'll bring it to you," but I was full so I declined the rice ^^; And finally, a mandarin orange for dessert was brought out and the meal was over. The rocking wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, but two people got seasick lol. But these two... it's possible that they weren't seasick, but just had too much to drink (´艸`) All in all, I think 10,800 yen was a great deal. I'd like to use this again if I have the chance ( ̄▽ ̄) Thank you for a fun time. And thank you to the organizers! It was a delicious meal m(_ _)m
