『浅草の街並みとスカイツリー。東京のパノラマが楽しめる優雅なレストラン・バー』
THE GATE HOTEL雷門にある“Rレストラン＆バー・アール” 。
カウンター、テラス、テーブル席とシーンに合わせた楽しみ方のできるレストランです。
カフェタイム。「デザート」メニューから「アフォガード雷おこし添え」を選択。

『アフォガード 雷おこし添え』
「アイスクリームと珈琲をマリアージュ」させるデザート。バニラアイスクリーム、この下にチョコレートとかみなりおこし。別添えのエスプレッソを注ぎながらいただきます。エスプレッソの苦味が、甘いバニラアイスクリームによって緩和されます。コーヒーが香り高いだけでなく、チョコチップもかなり香りを放っています。エスプレッソの温かさで、より香りが立ちやすくなっています。
かみなりおこし、という名前のわりには、小さな各砂糖ほどが2個程度と控えめなので、チョコの方が、際立っていました。。じんわりとした温かなデザートに癒されました。
アフォガードとは、イタリア語のaffogatoから来ており、「おぼれた」という意味。
朝、昼、夜と異なる風景＆眺めで季節ごとの美味。店内は喧騒から離れ、ゆったり食事を楽しめるおしゃれな空間が広がっています。駅からすぐなので、眺望とカクテルだけでも、利用できるのでおすすめします。また、定期的に落語とランチなどのイベントもあるようです！
