豪華朝食
Gate Hotel雷門の13階にあります。宿泊者の朝食は2800円。朝食としては破格のお値段。メインが3品から選択で残りはブッフェ形式。初日は浅草タルティーヌ、翌日はエッグベネディクトを選択しました。
タルティーヌは、トーストの上にゆで卵とマヨのソースがたっぷり、さらに焼いた厚切りベーコンが乗ってます。
初日のスープはカレースープ、翌日はコーンポタージュでした。
ブッフェの副菜はカポナータ(翌日はペンネ)、フライドポテト、ハム、ウィンナーもあった。
この他、サラダ、ヨーグルト、フルーツ、生搾りのオレンジジュース。コーヒーと紅茶は店員が適宜継ぎ足してくれます。

台風が来てたのでホテルでの夕食にしました。カウンター、テーブル席、テラス席があります。天候が天候だったのでさすがに夜景はイマイチ。スカイツリーは見えませんでした。
肉が食べたかったので1ポンドステーキにしようかと思ったのですが、30分ほどかかるとのことで取りやめ。予約して事前に頼んでおくか、ゆっくり食事するときも最初に頼んでおいた方が無難の模様。国産牛ロースのグリルに切り替え。それまでのつなぎに本日のスープ。この日は冷製クリームコンソメスープで、美味しかったです。15分ほどして提供された牛肉は、香ばしさも肉の香りも両方あって美味しかった。ポーションも充分です。これを赤ワインで合わせます。贅沢な夕食でした。
