After finishing off with soba in Towada, I had a craving for Shaved ice and thought about going to Saint Marc Cafe, but they didn't have Uji Kintoki this year, so I was undecided, and then I saw the ice flag at Bunka. I asked if they had Shaved ice, and they had Shaved ice menu, so I ordered Hojicha Condensed Milk (650 yen excluding tax). While I was waiting for it to be ready, I heard an unpleasant sound. It wasn't the sound of shaving ice, but the sound of crushing cubes of ice. When the Hojicha Condensed Milk was brought to me, it looked like Shaved ice, but it was actually crushed ice for a frappe. It had a gritty texture. What a shame.
