On this day, when it rained more heavily than I expected, I visited this place near Asakusabashi Station in the evening. It's a business that is as close to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) as possible rather than a soba restaurant, but it seems to be suitable for people like me who value soba noodles, so I wanted to stop by once. The place was once one of the most famous flower districts in Tokyo, but now there are few reminders of the past. I made a reservation a few days in advance and entered the store at exactly 5 p.m. when the mouth opened. It is a narrow restaurant built into the building, and the exterior is unified in black and has a bonsai tree of five-leaf pine, reminiscent of a high-end restaurant, but when you open the door, it has a surprisingly casual atmosphere, and it has the taste of Japanese-style dining between kappo and Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). There are 9 seats at the counter surrounding the kitchen, 3 table seats in the front and back, and a banquet room on the 2nd floor up the stairs. When I opened my mouth, there were only two staff, the owner in charge of customer service and the craftsman at the counter, but all of them looked like they were 50 years old. Currently, it is reserved only for customers, and there are three types of main Meat Dishes that change depending on chicken, pork, and beef. I'm asking for the 6,050 yen type, which is mainly Iberian pork in the middle. First of all, I get draft beer ([B: Asahi Jukusen Premium]). The course started immediately, and the contents are as follows. * Appetizer (1): "[B: Homemade tofu with whitebait and flavored vegetables]" is a tofu hardened in a bowl shaped like soba noodles, topped with kamaage whitebait, chopped and seasoned with olive oil, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and large leaves. The tofu itself is sweet, and the saltiness of the whitebait, the texture of the vegetables, and the aroma of the oil add to it, and it is moderately delicious. * Appetizer (2): "[B: Pork and fried tofu with sesame seeds]", shredded and quickly boiled pork and fried tofu that has been roasted and delicately sliced are kneaded and tossed in a sesame-based sauce, and white onions are sprinkled on top and drizzled with hemp oil. The flavor is slightly sweet, but each texture is utilized. * Appetizer (3): "[B: Baked silkworm beans]" is baked until the pods are slowly browned. When peeled by hand, bright green grains appear, peel off the skin, add a little salt and bring it to your mouth, but the texture and aroma are delightful. * "[B: Ozuku]" is a gorgeous six-point platter. It is recommended to eat scorpionfish, red snapper, flatfish, squid, amberjack, and tuna, and the white meat is eaten with salt. The scorpion fish had broiled skin, the sea bream and the flat fish had a strong umami flavor, and the sticky squid and amberjack and tuna eaten with soy sauce were also good. You can feel the sharpness of the knife technique, and the accompaniment is neat. * "[B: Smoked mackerel]" seems to be one of the specialties here. At first glance, it looks like salt-grilled mackerel, but the texture is soft and fatty despite being properly smoked. The saltiness is just right, and it is delicious enough just by squeezing a lemon. * "[B: Fried Pork Zucchini Roll]" is a thin slice of pork wrapped in a zucchini core and fried, and cut with a cross-section. Although it is a casual dish, it is well seasoned, so leave it as it is. * "[B: Smoked Camembert]" is a round Camembert smoked and cut into triangles. The aroma and color are moderate, and it is interesting to dip the yuzu marmalade that comes with it, or tear off a few dill leaves and bring it to your mouth together. * "[B: Iberian pork grilled on a ceramic plate]" is served boiled from the back. The belly is cut into slightly thicker bite-sized pieces, grilled until browned, and seasoned with a generous amount of onions and a slightly sweet crack. The meat is crunchy, but when you bite into it, it tastes good, and the onions on the bottom are delicious. Considering that it was gradually boiled down, the taste was not as strong as it looked, and I was able to eat it without getting tired of it, although it was a generous amount. When I asked my husband for a recommendation, he chose a brand that matched the dish and served it in a stylish wine glass. "[B: Omine 3grain]": It has a fruity taste with a soft sourness, and the round taste is pleasant. "[B: Mutsu Oyama Super Spicy Junmai Ura]": A sharp mouth, and you can feel the firmness and refreshment. "[B: Haruka Junmai Ginjo Chestnut Label]": Good refreshing mouthfeel and umami that spreads obediently. When faced with a number of dishes, it is easy to drink too much. I refrained from drinking any more Japan sake, and when the pottery plate grill came out, I got "[B: Nikka barrel highball]". With these, a substantial soba noodle was developed. A piece of "mori" called "[b: finished soba noodles]" is served in 〆. I guess there is a commitment to incorporating soba into the course, but when I looked at other people's writings, there was almost no detailed description of soba noodles, so I didn't expect much. The soba noodles that were served were machine-beaten, and the texture and flavor were mediocre, but not so much that they were degraded. Tsuyu is also a slightly sweet soba noodle shop in town, but it suits this soba noodle. The soba noodles are served in an iron kettle from the back. The cloudiness and toromi were a little strong, but I didn't have a bad impression. The courses are varied and quite substantial. There is also a kitchen in the back apart from the counter, and the food from there is also decent. The soba noodles are not very good, but I have the impression that the soba noodles cover them well. This course is quite reasonable at 6,000 yen, and the total payment feels a little cheaper than 11,000 yen. Combined with the second floor, there are quite a few seats, but there were no omissions in terms of customer service and I was able to spend a pleasant time. In particular, the character of the amiable husband can be said to be a factor in the soothing atmosphere. Most of the customers seem to be local regulars, which is understandable.
