The main store is here ⇓ Takeya (https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1310/A131002/13005072/) |
A sister restaurant to Takeya, Ochanomizu, which has been selected as one of the 100 famous udon restaurants. Udon noodles are characterized by their chewy texture. The curry-flavored soup is so delicious that you can keep drinking it forever. Order contents: Shrimp tempura curry 1,150 yen Food/drink rating: A bowl of curry soup with udon, 5 shrimp tempura, green beans, and chopped green onions. The soup is not very spicy, but it has a spicy aroma. When you take a sip, you will notice that it has a very round, creamy, and deep flavor. It seems to be a reproduction of Kyushu's Curry Udon, and has a distinctive sweetness and richness, making it so delicious that you can keep drinking it forever. The udon noodles are relatively thin, but very chewy and delicious. The shrimp tempura is not that big, but it has a nice crisp texture and is delicious. The batter is evenly thick, so it might be more appropriate to call it a fritter than Tempura. The green beans were crispy and had a good texture. Evaluation of the store/services: The interior is simple, modern, and stylish. The cleaning is done properly and there is a feeling of cleanliness. Customer service is average. Return visit: Both the udon and soup were delicious, and next time I would like to try the regular soy sauce-based soup.
