I was going to go to [a:13141495,Hanayuzu] near Nishi-Nippori Station, but it was full, so I decided to go to "Murasarai Nishi-Nippori Branch" which is nearby. I remembered that I used to go to "Murasarai" often to drink chuhai when I was a student, and I went in with a nostalgic feeling that "it's still there now". It's been years since I last went to "Murasarai". "Murasarai" used to be known for its rustic interior (when was that?), but this place has a private room and a relaxed atmosphere. The standard Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu such as yakitori and Fried food is still available, but you can also enjoy new menu items such as conger eel tofu and beef tendon stewed in tomato at reasonable prices. Of course, there are various types of chuhai. Many private room stores have slow staff, but this one is quick and pleasant. Even though times have changed, it is an Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) chain that you can enjoy with the old-fashioned ease.
