[First visit on January 26, 2024] Go down from the south ticket gate of Nippori Station to the bottom of the valley-side cliff and turn right at the road you come across. When you turn left at the first corner, the shop is located on the basement floor of the Art Hotel Nippori Langwood, which is on your right. This day was a rare meal for two. After debating what to eat, let's eat fresh spring rolls! and. I was searching and found this store. It was located at the end of the escalator in the hotel, but I thought it was a bit expensive since it was Restaurants Restaurants the hotel, but from the price and menu it turned out to be an ordinary authentic Vietnamese Cuisine. ...Why are you here? is my honest opinion. For now, I ordered "draft beer". There were three types of spring rolls available. In Other, there was a menu called ``Assortment of 3 kinds of makimono'' which had two of each, so I also ordered that and my personal favorite, ``Yaki Pork Banh Mi.'' The beer was served immediately, and after a little over 10 minutes, the "Assortment of three types of makimono" arrived first! There were three types of fresh spring rolls, 1) chicken spring rolls, 2) salmon spring rolls, and 3) shrimp spring rolls, all cut into small pieces. There were three types of sauces prepared to go with them. There was a fish sauce base, a miso base, and a mayonnaise base that was specified for ②. As specified by the restaurant, I ate ① with a fish sauce based sauce and ③ with a miso based sauce. ② is indeed a combination ◎, but I wonder if ① and ③ should have been reversed. The ingredients were small, but not only did they taste good, but they were also delicious. Personally, I think ② was my favorite. However, the skin of ③, which I ate last, was slightly thicker, and the moisture seemed to drain away quickly over time. It was only getting harder. Is that something to be careful about? ︎ "Yaki Pork Banh Mi" also arrived soon. There are a lot of Vietnamese leafy vegetables in between the very light and large bread, and there is something like liver paste in the back! When I asked the staff about the main dish, ``grilled pork,'' they said ``char siu,'' but it might be better to think of it as something similar to pork Yakiniku (Grilled meat). Unlike Japanese bread, the bread is dry and has a crumbly texture, but since the sandwiching material retains moisture, it is not difficult to eat...The bread is made close to the local taste. It may be because of this, but I think the finished product is very easy to eat even for Japanese people. By the way, in addition to the menu I ordered this time, there was also a menu called "Chashu Banh Mi"...I asked the previously mentioned waiter how it was different from "Yaki Pork Banh Mi"...I'm not that good at Japanese. Although the content was different, the explanation was exactly the same... What was it actually like? What is the difference between pork Yakiniku (Grilled meat) and grilled pork? Does anyone know? Thank you for the meal.
