Our chef, G. Venugopal, from whom the restaurant's name derives, is from Chennai, India, and is an authentic chef with decades of experience in the hospitality field. He moved to Japan as a chef at Ajanta Tokyo, worked at Dharmagala in Higashi Ginza, and then opened his first Restaurants specializing in South Indian Cuisine in Kinshicho, Tokyo. Locally known as Chef Venu, he pursues authentic yet simple cooking methods and values the flavor of his dishes.
