On the weekend, I patrolled the area thinking of having a light drink in Kameido. At night, Kameido was quite crowded. I had a few candidates, but all the popular ones were quite crowded, so I hesitated to go in...^_^; At that time, this shop caught my eye. It had the appearance of a popular bar, and just at the right time, a few customers came out and the bar was empty. I was drawn in by my Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) radar and entered the bar. The inside of the bar was covered with menus all over the walls, and at the back, a couple with an age difference were arguing. It seems to be a proper popular bar after all. In a bar like this, it's best to order classic menu of a popular bar, not a strangely elaborate menu. That's why I ordered "Negima @ 150 yen". You can order Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) from one skewer, and you can choose salt or sauce. It's quite delicious. The yuzu pepper makes me cry. "Tsukune @150 yen" This was for commercial use. Don't worry! "Negiyaki @120 yen" It was green onion. Let's pick some vegetables too. "Ham cutlet @250 yen" Sooooooooo good!! Considering the price, I thought it would be a thin and flimsy ham cutlet, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a thick and plump type that made me smile♪ "Edamame @300 yen" This is what you would expect from a pub. It wasn't freshly boiled, but it felt like it was cooked in the shop, not frozen, and it was quite voluminous. "Shishamo @380 yen" Sooooooo good!! The large pieces were grilled to a fragrant aroma and went well with the mayonnaise. I'd want to eat this shishamo again. Sorry for underestimating it, shishamo-kun! "Kimchi fried rice @600 yen" A strong, slightly spicy kimchi flavor. The sake was also quite good, with a good value for money. There are many popular restaurants in the area, such as Kameido Hormone, Kameido Gyoza / Dumpling, and Unaru, but this may be a hidden gem.
