Came here for the mackerel. This restaurant seems to sell Local Cuisine from Aomori Prefecture. There are 5 types of mackerel dishes available. Sparkling wine is 280 yen during happy hour until 8pm. I'm glad they are so kind, but they don't announce anything on the menu, so it's unfriendly. Now, for the mackerel dish, I tried homemade shime mackerel for 980 yen. Just half the size is served and divided into broiled and raw. This mackerel is a brand of mackerel called Hachinohe Mae-Oki Saba, and is said to be ``Japan's best fatty mackerel'' in the industry. When I tried it, the fat was just right and had a nice finish. For the grilled food, they serve it with mustard instead of wasabi. I decided that sake or shochu would be a better choice, so I switched to shochu. I ordered it straight, but it was a decent amount. It seems like they have a great deal on lunch as well, so I think I'll stop by for lunch next time.
