I had a chance to have a drink with a close friend in Shin-Koiwa, and as I was walking through the shopping district of Shin-Koiwa, I saw that there were shops spread out in side alleys, and when I turned around, I found a shop that looked good! I had the pleasure of visiting Mr. Shinkoiwa Fukushima! It's been 4 years since I last drank at Shinkoiwa, and I hadn't made a reservation, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get in, but they told me there was space at the counter, so they showed me around! There didn't seem to be a lot of seating inside the restaurant, and other customers seemed to be having fun drinking in the Japanese-style interior! A store full of smiling faces is a good store! ! First, order a highball! As soon as you order, you can have an appetizer along with a highball! I'm glad there's not just one type of appetizer! The taste of the boiled eggplant is so delicious that I want a second helping. Other items we ordered were squid sashimi, grilled Kujo green onions, and Tempura tempura. Grilled Kujo green onions, great with miso as a side dish, or with salt! It's perfect as a snack with alcohol. Personally, I thought the Tempura platter was a bit on the heavy side, but it came with two pieces of shrimp tempura, so I loved it! I had it with salt and it was delicious! The squid sashimi looked beautiful, had a sticky texture, and was very satisfying in taste! I couldn't order any other dishes, so I think I'll order another menu next time! Thank you for the meal!
