鮪かま（中）炭火焼きとお刺身セット 1400円
大山鶏炭火焼きと鮪かま（小）セット 1400円
築地本願寺の近くにあるこの路地には、海鮮系の店がいくつか並んでいます。ここはその一軒です。
カウンター前の炭焼き場でマグロのカマが豪快に焼かれていて、見ているだけでも迫力満点です。
私たちが訪れたのは13時すぎで、残念ながら本鮪のカマや大きな鮪カマは売り切れてしまっていました。結局、中サイズの鮪カマ炭火焼きとお刺身セット、そして同行者は大山鶏の炭火焼きと小サイズの鮪カマセットを注文しました。
配膳されたのは、大迫力の大きな骨付きカマ焼き。
特大のマグロカマが二つ、炭火で香ばしく焼かれ、脂がのってプルンとした食感。身もぎっしり。添えられた大根おろしとの組み合わせが絶妙で、カマトロの部分と身の部分の両方が高品質なお肉と遜色ないほど美味しく、しかも肉のような塊が取れて食べ応えも十分です。この一皿だけでもお腹いっぱいになります。
また、刺身も少量ですが、非常に美味。まぐろの切り身、すき身、真鯛、サーモンといった各種の刺身は、新鮮さとはまた違う、熟成された旨味が凝縮されています。
同行者が注文した小サイズの鮪カマは、やや小さくパサパサしていて食感が固めでした。やはりサイズが大きい方が美味しいと改めて感じましたね。
